Our new Australian Regional Tea Towel Collection is on its way.

Nine beautifully illustrated designs celebrating Australia’s unique regions, landscapes, native birds and flora. We’re starting in Queensland and making our way around the country —starting with Far North Queensland to the Darling Downs, Central Queensland, Brisbane, Wide Bay, Northern Rivers and beyond.

The first to be released in this collection are: Brisbane, Far North Queensland, North Queensland and Wide Bay Burnett.

Designed as contemporary Australian travel posters, these are tea towels with a story to tell — colourful, collectable and made to bring a little piece of Australia into your home. Every tea towel has birds and flora belonging to a particular region and not repeated on other designs

Welcome to Picton Studio.

Welcome also to Pictonsuburbia , a creative venture of Picton Studio, which is situated in the glorious city of Brisbane. It is from his Moorooka-based studio that illustrator and visual artist Ropati shares his own take on the city and its surrounding suburbs —turning familiar streets, buildings, and local spots into bold, layered digital collages that acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of the city’s history and era defined culture as expressed through the physical structures that endure.

It’s a bit nostalgic, a bit contemporary, but mostly about the places that bring feelings of fascination and pride to Brisbanites, and enjoyment and a bit envy to those who visit.
